Pre-Match Press:

High pressure situations often require a cool head and experience. In James Collins, the Hammers have a man with both in abundance. Speaking ahead of the weekend's fixture, he reiterated the magnitude of the occasion at London Stadium.

“Swansea is a massive game. The biggest we’ve had for a few years, I’d say. If we don’t get the three points we’re sucked right into it, so it’s vital," said the 33-year-old.

“We need to regroup, have a good couple of days training and get the three points – nothing less – on Saturday.

“We know we can do that. Confidence might be low at the minute, but we need to have a chat, train well and go for a massive game.

“Everyone needs to look at themselves, at their performances and gear up for a big three points.

“The next two games are huge. Please God if we can get six points out of them, and perform, it will be massive and we’d probably go on to win a few more.

“It’s a case at the minute of getting that win, getting that clean sheet maybe and getting the confidence from that.”
