New manager Manuel Pellegrini addressed the media for the first time as West Ham manager and spoke highly of new attacking armoury he has brought in, in record signing Felipe Anderson, highly rated Ukranian Andriy Yarmolenko and boyhood Hammer Jack Wilshere.
“Jack, Felipe and Andriy have the quality we need to play good attacking football,†declared Pellegrini. News that should excite Hammers fans, and here’s more on the trio set to light up London Stadium.

Felipe Anderson
As part of their summer shopping spree, West Ham duly smashed their transfer record to bring Felipe Anderson to London Stadium, and look to be now armed with their own Brazilian trickster ready to set the Premier League alight. Anderson's arrival has been much lauded as one of the most astute buys of this transfer window, he looks set to be the direct attacking midfielder that West Ham need to help push them into the upper reaches of the Premier League table.
Along with notching up an incredible 34 goals for Lazio, Anderson was the most prolific dribbler in Serie A for last season, registering 5.4 successful dribbles per match.

Jack Wilshere
Fleet of foot with a steely determination and wonderful vision and drive, no one has doubted the ability of Jack Wilshere.
Having made 38 appearances for the Gunners last season, his highest since his breakthrough year in 2010/11, saw talk of a chequered injury record cast aside, replaced with signs of him rediscovering that magic.
Wilshere's transfer is one that’ll hit close to home for Arsenal fans when West Ham travel to North London on the 26th August, their own academy graduate now a Hammer having joining on a free transfer.Â
Captured without a fee, it could prove one of the signings of the season with Wilshere out to prove a point, Pellegrini will look to unearth that promise for the Hammers.
Â
Andriy Yarmolenko
While the last Ukrainian to sign for a London Premier League club didn’t have the most fruitful spell, Andriy Yarmolenko will have his sights set on sharing only his nationality with Andriy Shevchenko.
Yarmolenko arrives from Borussia Dortmund, the tall, flexible forward notched up double figures in seven straight seasons for Dynamo Kyiv, before making the switch to Dortmund. He is also second in Ukraine's all-time goalscorer's list, only behind his namesake Shevchenko.
With his eye for goal, and surrounded by talented playmakers and a forward-thinking coach, he can thrive in front of the London Stadium crowd.
