Foo Fighters have confirmed their special guests and support acts for their weekend of shows at London Stadium on 22 & 23 June 2018, ensuring that the events will retain a London flavour with three of the five bands hailing from the capital.
On the Friday night, Camden quartet Wolf Alice will follow up their masterful headline set at Alexandra Palace with the main support slot, after Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes open proceedings
Frank Carter’s meteoric rise continues, the former Gallows frontman is enjoying a sustained period in the spotlight with his band, the Rattlesnakes, and will take to the stage at a UK stadium for the very first time.
On Saturday, The Kills will return to London Stadium after their weekend of shows with Guns N’ Roses this last summer, with Slaves and Starcrawler rounding out the bill.
The Kills, fronted by the enigmatic Alison Mosshart, will follow Tyler Bryant and the Shakedown as the second band to appear at the venue on multiple occasions, while Kent-based duo Slaves will bring their British punk-referencing indie to the biggest stage of their career.
Hotly-tipped LA outfit Starcrawler will open proceedings on the Saturday, having turned heads in the USA this year including Elton John playing their debut single on his Beats One radio station.
