WEST HAM V MANCHESTER CITY // SUPPORTERS' INFORMATION GUIDE

With the end of the Premier League season in sight, West Ham United host champions Manchester City at London Stadium on Sunday afternoon (2:15 kickoff).

The Hammers will be aiming to upset the champions, against all odds, to help cement their Premier League standing for another season.

Adrian is set to replace Joe Hart in hoal - the latter ineligible to face his parent club, while Manuel Lanzini is continuing to press for a return to the first eleven after being brought on as a substitute in West Ham's last two matches.

If you have a ticket for this sold out fixture, make the most of your trip with our supporters' information guide.

Please note that, due to the chance of rain on Sunday, that supporters are able to bring small, foldable umbrellas into London Stadium. Large, pointed umbrellas will not be permitted.

Enhanced safety and security measures at London Stadium:

A series of measures have been implemented to ensure the safety of supporters attending Sunday's Premier League game at London Stadium.

In light of the regrettable actions of a small minority of individuals during West Ham’s fixture with Burnley, the Club has worked closely alongside stadium operators LS185, E20, the Metropolitan Police, London Borough of Newham and fans - via the Supporter Advisory Board – to implement a number of proactive steps with the safety and security of everyone coming to the game our foremost priority.

Heightened measures will include a significantly enhanced number of police officers and security personnel at London Stadium, as well as a dynamic pitch response team.

Changes to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park walking routes:

To support the development of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park's new communities, areas of temporary hoarding will be in place next to Bridge 2, through Mandeville Place and up to Waterden Road, from mid-January 2018 to winter 2019.

All existing areas of the park will remain open during this time, but the walking route for fans visiting London Stadium coming from Hackney Wick will be affected slightly, as illustrated in the below map (download by clicking here). Bridge 3 will now only be accessible from Marshgate Terrace.

Fans who use Turnstiles A, B & C for entry to London Stadium are recommended to enter through Bridge Two, then walk along Stadium Island before entering the venue.

For supporters visiting Club London, who have previously been advised to enter the Stadium via Bridge 3, there will now be a dedicated hospitality lane on Bridge 2 to ensure a hassle free entrance.

There has also been a change to the entrance to the Park from Westfield, with supporters now able to walk directly from Chestnut Plaza, instead of being diverted via John Lewis.

Please see and download a printable map showing the developments in QEOP here...

Supporters using Stratford regional station after the conclusion of the match, please be aware that access to the station will be exclusively via the Northern Ticket Hall on Monfitchet Road, directly opposite the entrance to Westfield Shopping Centre, instead of using the bridge to the south of the station.

Hours of play:

Kickoff between West Ham United and Manchester City is set for 2:15pm, with London Stadium opening the turnstiles for supporters 90 minutes ahead of the match, at 12:45.

Supporters can take advantage of early access drinks discounts inside London Stadium ahead of this match, with deals available for the first half hour until 1:15pm.

Hospitality guests for the fixture can enjoy entry to London Stadium via Entrance B on Podium level from 11:45.

Bridge Searching:

Our search process for this season is designed to improve security, reduce queuing times at turnstiles and alleviate congestion around the podium level.

The regime sees bag search checkpoints stationed directly adjacent to the bridges leading on to the stadium island, a process has been used throughout London Stadium’s summer of concerts and world athletics and proved particularly successful in helping the flow of spectators to the stadium.

In order to allow easy access and cause minimal delays, it is recommended that supporters arrive at least one hour prior to kick-off and avoid bringing any bags to matches unless absolutely necessary. Large suitcases or luggage are not permitted in the stadium.

All bags will be searched and supporters may also be asked to remove jackets or coats in preparation for search. All approved bags are also subject to additional inspections within the Stadium. There will be an access lane at each checkpoint for supporters with accessibility needs.

These are not ticket check points, allowing supporters without tickets to gain access to the podium and visit the Stadium Store and Ticket Offices.

For ticket collections, please use Bridge Two for the quickest entry to Stadium Island, hospitality guests are best advised to enter over Bridge Three, and away fans should enter over Bridge Four.

Bags and baggage:

We would like to discourage all supporters from bringing bags to West Ham matches unless absolutely necessary. Please note that if you do need to bring a bag with you, please arrive early and allow plenty of time to accommodate a full search before entry. Large items of baggage, and luggage, are not permitted.

Late Entry Turnstiles:

Additionally at London Stadium this season, each entrance section on the podium will have one late turnstile open after kick-off. Any supporters who arrive late for the match are advised to head to the relevant entrance for their seat, where they will be directed to the late-opening turnstile.
